Portuguese Shamrock

Went to dinner tonight at the Portuguese Shamrock at 416 Main Street in Bradley Beach.

Portuguese Sharmrock in Bradley Beach, NJ

The owner is originally from the Ironbound section of Newark, which is known for its wide selection of authentic Portuguese restaurants. This is the second time we’ve eaten there, the first being about a week after it changed hands. The food was excellent, the selection of wines was good and very reasonably priced and the service was professional, quick and very friendly.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for something new in Bradley Beach.

I went there last week. The food was very tasty!

It’s definitely nice to see a new, high quality restaurant open in town. It’s too bad that La Hacienda closed. Their chips were terrific!

  3. John says:

    The food was horrible.
    Will never go back

In the meantime, I have to say, that we’ve had mixed experiences there. Sometimes, the food has been quite good, other times, just so so. What did you have which was horrible?
